Are The Tags Safe for Me and My Pet?
Absolutely! A great feature of our tags is that they do not have any moving parts and do NOT require any batteries. This ensures that each tag is as safe as can be for both you and your pet 🙂 Most other kind’s of ‘GPS Tags’ out there use all sorts of Bluetooth Frequency which have high energy footprints, putting your pet at potential risk. At 2-Dogs we have eliminated 100% of these issues.
My Pet Is Already Microchipped! Do I Need a tag?
Microchipping your pet is passive, not active. Someone needs to find your pet and then take them to a shelter or a vet for the microchip to hopefully be scanned and read. The great thing about our tags is that it bypasses the process of finding a nearby shelter or clinic. Within your pet profile (which the finder will be able to scan), you will be able to list all the information you could possibly need. There is no need for any more microchips! 2-Dogs tags is essentially a microchip that anyone can access.
How Do These Tags Alert Me if My Pet Is Missing?
After you mark your pet as lost on The Find-Me App, and your pet is found by an individual, they will scan the qr code on the tag. At that point, you will be immediately notified via push notifications alert and an email alert. If you have opted for paid plan, you will also be alerted by an sms message these notifications will also show a map indicating the exact GPS location of where your pet was detected. Amazingly, as soon as you mark your pet as lost in The Find-Me App, every other Find-Me App user within a 5 mile radius of your location will be alerted that your pet is lost somewhere nearby and politely asked to keep an eye out for your pet.

What About Privacy?
Great question. We take privacy very seriously — that’s why Find-Me App lets you decide what information you would like to share and not to share. This is a large benefit over normal engraved pet tags as anyone can have access to your address and other information. Within your pet’s profile, you can choose to add, delete, or even hide information. This can be changed if your dog or cat is lost or just playing at the dog park. Your personal information will never be shared with anyone, and your location is never tracked.
Do I get access to The Find-Me App community?
Absolutely, Every single 2-Dogs QR code pet id tags that is activated on The Find-Me App automatically gives you instant complementary lifetime access to The Find*Me App community and the amazing feature where as soon as you mark your pet as lost in The Find-Me App, every other Find-Me App user within a 5 mile radius of your location will be alerted that your pet is lost somewhere nearby and politely asked to keep an eye out for your pet.
